PCS - Managed Print Services

One of PCS’s key skills is developing a Managed Print Services (MPS) system that could transform the performance and cost effectiveness of a business’s print and copy needs.

MPS is the management of device fleets (copiers, printers, malfunction devices and fax machines) in a unified fashion by outsourcing the management of the fleet to an external vendor – such as PCS.

There are three phases to the MPS process.

  • CONTROL:  This phase is about gaining control of the fleet. PCS will carry out a full print audit, ascertaining print volumes, models and functions.

 

  • OPTIMISE:  It’s about getting the best out of your system so at this stage PCS will help optimise your fleet, ensuring the optimal deployment of hardcopy assets and make recommendations at to location, product and volume.

 

  • ENHANCE:  Phase three goes beyond optimization to enhancement. This is the point PCS will improve the capabilities of the fleet by using document management and workflow to improve processes.
